I was tired.
Like, stay-in-bed-all-day-with-burgers-and-ice-cream tired.
My body felt heavy.
My energy was low.
And my mind? Foggy, uninspired, over it.
After a late night out yesterday, everything in me said:
“Just stay here. Watch Netflix. You deserve to rest.”
And honestly… I did.
I let myself melt into the comfort.
I gave myself that permission.
Because rest is a form of self-love too.
But then something shifted.
Not guilt.
Not pressure.
Just… a whisper.
A whisper from the version of me I’ve been becoming.
The one who’s walked through heartbreak, bankruptcy, betrayal, anxiety…
And chose to rise anyway.
Over and over again.
So I got up.
I climbed on that bike.
I pedaled through every excuse.
70 minutes.
Then I grabbed my weights and moved with intention.
One rep at a time.
One layer of fog lifted.
Not because I “had to.”
Because I wanted to remember how powerful I feel
when I show up for me.
How movement moves more than just muscles —
it moves emotion, energy, and creativity too.
That’s what this journey is about.
Not perfection.
Not aesthetics.
But ENERGY.
TRUST.
POWER.
I didn’t always know this.
Two years ago, I felt lost in the dark.
Hiding.
Avoiding the spotlight.
Afraid of being seen.
Afraid of starting over.
But life cracked me open in the most brutal, beautiful way.
And through that crack, the light came in.
Now I get to glow — not because it’s easy.
But because I’ve built this light from within.
