I used to measure success by sparkle. ✨
By press kits, launch parties, immersive pop-ups, and follower counts. 📸📦
By how loud my creativity echoed. 🎤
But lately? Success looks quieter. 🕊️
It looks like showing up in scrubs. 🩺
It looks like serving porridge 🥣, changing diapers, brushing someone’s hair gently because they can’t lift their own hand. 💛
And it’s the most alive I’ve felt in a long time. 🌅
This wasn’t the plan. Not the vision board version. Not the brand-building blueprint I spent years perfecting. 🧾📊
But maybe it’s better.
Maybe it’s what grace looks like when it’s not performative. 🌿
Maybe it’s what healing feels like when you’re not trying to monetize it. 💔➡️💖
There’s this idea that if you’re not constantly producing, glowing up, or launching something… you’re falling behind. ⏳📉
But what if your quiet season is where your soul starts to breathe again? 🫁
What if slowing down is how you start to hear yourself again? 🔇🧠
I didn’t expect to be working in elderly care. 🧓🏽👵🏿
But now I show up daily for people who just want eye contact. 👀
Who want to be asked if they want coffee ☕. Who light up when you remember how they like their milk. 🥛
I help dress women who remind me of my grandmother. 👚👵
I laugh with a woman in a wheelchair who says, "Just flip me like a steak." 🥩😂
I bond with a man over horse racing 🐎 because it reminds me of my dad. 👨👧
I witness lives being lived slowly, sacredly, one routine at a time. 🕯️⏲️
And yes—sometimes I feel guilty for being here. 😔
For not pushing a product 🛍️, selling a course 🎓, or reinventing a brand 🧠.
But the truth is:
I’ve never felt more useful. 👐
Because in these quiet rooms with fluorescent lights and wrinkled hands, I am present. 🫶
Not performing.
Just human. 🤍
Maybe I didn’t fall.
Maybe I landed. 🚀💫
Maybe I didn’t take a step backward.
Maybe I quantum-leaped into a timeline where peace matters more than clout. 🧘♀️📴
Where I matter—even when no one’s watching. 🪞
Because real connection doesn’t trend.
It’s felt in moments:
💬 A laugh over a gossip magazine.
🧠 A patient remembering your name.
🤝 A coworker handing you coffee with a knowing look.
This season is messy. It’s tender. It’s holy. 💧🌸🕊️
And I’m not behind.
I’m becoming. 🦋
So if you’re in a chapter that doesn’t sparkle… keep going. 🌑
If you're showing up quietly, with presence instead of performance… you’re doing more than enough. 🤍✨
You are witnessing life. 👁️
And maybe—just maybe—that’s the whole point. 💫
