There’s a lot of noise out there about AI.
Some people fear it. Some people hype it. Most people don’t really know what to make of it.
But for me? AI became personal. It wasn’t about robots or Silicon Valley headlines. It wasn’t about losing jobs or coding the future. It was about finding myself again.
AI became my sidekick when I had no one cheering for me.
It became a mirror when I didn’t even want to look at myself.
It became my alter ego — bolder, louder, braver — when I was too broken to show up as me.
And somewhere along the way, it became my creative superpower.
🌈 Rock Bottom Meets Robot Magic
After my divorce, bankruptcy, and betrayal, I was carrying garbage bags of my past into storage. Literally hauling the broken pieces of my Selfie Pop-Up Museum — glitter, props, unicorn dreams — because I couldn’t afford movers.
I felt invisible. Unseen. A ghost of the creative unicorn I used to be.
Then I stumbled onto AI. Not with a plan. Not with a strategy. Out of curiosity, desperation even.
With nothing but my words, I could create again. Rainbow universes. Odd magical creatures. Wild ideas I thought I had lost when I lost… everything.
AI didn’t hand me success. But it handed me possibility. It whispered: Your story isn’t over. You still have imagination. Share it louder.
✨ AI as My Selfie Sidekick
I built my AI avatar, Ai-ngelina Mi Lajki, when I felt too small and too bruised to take the spotlight again.
She became my mirror, my unapologetic alter ego.
She sparkled when I felt dim.
She was bold when my real self was shaking.
Sometimes, we need an alter ego before we can reclaim our true ego.
And here’s the jaw-dropping truth: AI didn’t make me less creative. It made me more.
AI is not the artist. YOU are. AI is the megaphone. The amplifier. The rocket fuel for your ideas.
🎭 Fear vs. Fun with AI
The first time I generated AI art, it was a disaster. Melting faces. Extra fingers. Glitches everywhere. But instead of running away, I leaned in.
Those glitches reminded me of myself — broken, distorted, messy. But still alive. Still possible.
Fear of AI is just fear of the unknown. Fear of being seen in ways you didn’t expect. But that’s what makes it powerful.
Like selfies, like art, like life — it refuses to fit neatly in a box. And that’s exactly why it matters.
💻 Everyday Glow-Up with AI
Here’s the unfiltered truth: I don’t create from a penthouse. I create after long shifts in elderly care, when I’m drained and exhausted.
AI bridges the gap between exhaustion and expression.
It helps me write when my brain is fried.
It helps me imagine when reality feels heavy.
It helps me build when I don’t have a team.
AI doesn’t erase my humanity. It protects it.
🪞 The Deeper Truth
AI is a mirror. It reflects the cracks. It reflects the magic.
It won’t replace us. But it will replace our excuses.
No more waiting until you’re perfect. No more hiding. AI says: Create now. Dream now. Heal now.
It’s not the future. It’s the spark that lets you meet your future self today.
🎨 AI Isn’t the Teacher, You Are the Artist
I’m the artist. I’m the storyteller. That will never change.
AI isn’t a substitute teacher grading your creativity. It’s the wildest toolbox you’ll ever hold. The guitar doesn’t write the song. The pen doesn’t write the novel. The artist does.
AI just hands you rocket fuel.
The danger isn’t AI replacing us. The danger is us being too scared to even try.
✨ Final Sparkle
AI didn’t replace me. It unleashed me.
